I’ve got one heck of a great object lesson for you today, courtesy of a guy named Varun Kumar…
In 22 ways to earn money online which I released during the launch of Indian Money School, I introduced you how powerful this new two-way Internet — Web 2.0 — can be.
I documented how everyday people can earn money online with out being cheated by others and I urged you to use message boards, blogs, forums and social networking sites to create buzz for your promotions.
But I left one pretty important thing out …
No matter how much value you give away for free … no matter how superior your product is … and no matter how reasonable your price is …
Not everyone on the web will thank you, trust you or praise you – and some poor, tortured souls will skin you alive, just for sport.
Take Varun Kumar and others, for example …
Yesterday, around 6:30 PM, Varun Kumar left a negative, angry, insulting comment here.
He said I’m to blame for the fact that he was not able to earn money online and that we are cheating others.
He presented a laundry list of excuses why programs like fastopportunities, ebayindians, onlinerobber and indianmoneyschool are not suitable for people like him and that he isn’t making progress on the Web.
He demanded that those of us who have made it GIVE him my expertise … my web department … my entire marketing machines — totally free of charge.
Now, some people would have deleted that comment the minute it appeared.
Not me!
Crazy like a Fox …
Instead, I just sat back and smiled and waited …
And sure enough, a fight broke out.
At first, a few people seemed to agree with Varun and others. Then, my champions charged to my defense and pounded the naysayers within an inch of their lives.
Before you know it, people throwing virtual tables and chairs at each other … smashing virtual whiskey bottles over each others’ heads … and giving each other virtual noogies.
… And what were they thinking about … fighting about … giving their undivided attention to? Why, little old ME, of course!
And of course, every comment … every insult … every retort … and every word of praise has been dutifully recorded on the World Wide Web.
And it will be there for anyone to see, forever.
And you know what else?
